This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how WDA Willow processes, dispatches, and delivers orders placed through our website at wdawillow.co.uk or via direct communication. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

WDA Willow is registered in England and Wales (Registration No: 15662324), based at Unit 3B Mentley Farm, Mentley Lane West, Great Munden, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG11 1TW, United Kingdom.

2. Order Processing

All orders are processed during our standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (GMT/BST). Orders placed outside these hours, on weekends, or on UK public holidays will be processed on the next available working day.

Processing times vary depending on the type of order:

  • Standard in-stock products: Dispatched within 2 to 5 working days of order confirmation
  • Custom-made cricket bats: Production begins after receipt of the confirmed deposit. Lead time is typically 2 to 6 weeks depending on specifications and current order volume
  • Bulk or wholesale orders: Lead times are agreed individually at the time of ordering

You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

3. Domestic Shipping (United Kingdom)

3.1 Delivery Options

  • Standard Delivery: 3 to 5 working days after dispatch
  • Express Delivery: 1 to 2 working days after dispatch (where available)
  • Next Working Day Delivery: Available on eligible orders placed before 12:00 PM (subject to availability)

3.2 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Free standard delivery may be offered on orders above a specified threshold, as displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

3.3 Delivery Partners

We work with reputable UK courier services including Royal Mail, DPD, and ParcelForce to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. The courier used for your order will be confirmed in your dispatch notification email.

4. International Shipping

4.1 Countries We Ship To

WDA Willow ships internationally to a wide range of countries. Available destinations and applicable shipping charges are displayed at checkout. If your country is not listed, please contact us at malik@wdawillow.co.uk to discuss shipping options.

4.2 International Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines for international orders are as follows:

  • Europe: 5 to 10 working days after dispatch
  • South Asia (Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh): 7 to 14 working days after dispatch
  • Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean: 10 to 20 working days after dispatch
  • Rest of the World: 10 to 21 working days after dispatch

These are estimated timelines only. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, or other factors outside our control.

4.3 Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are entirely the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product or shipping prices.

WDA Willow has no control over customs processes and cannot predict the applicable charges. We recommend contacting your local customs authority for information before placing an international order.

If an order is refused by customs or returned to us due to non-payment of duties, we reserve the right to deduct return shipping costs from any refund issued.

5. Packaging

All WDA Willow products are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Cricket bats are wrapped in protective material and placed in sturdy outer packaging suitable for courier transit.

We are committed to using packaging that balances product protection with environmental responsibility. Where possible, we use recyclable or biodegradable materials.

6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. Please note that tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after dispatch.

7. Delivery Attempts and Failed Deliveries

Our courier partners will typically make up to two delivery attempts if no one is available to receive the package. After failed attempts, the parcel may be left at a local depot or nominated safe location, and a card or notification will be left for you.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to collect from a depot, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-delivery charges may apply. If re-delivery is not requested within 14 days, we reserve the right to treat the order as cancelled and issue a refund minus the original and return shipping costs.

8. Damaged or Lost Orders

8.1 Damaged on Arrival

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please do not sign for the parcel as ‘received in good condition’. Take clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged product, then contact us within 48 hours of delivery at malik@wdawillow.co.uk with your order number and photographic evidence. We will assess your claim promptly and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

8.2 Lost in Transit

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please allow an additional 3 working days (UK) or 5 working days (international) before contacting us. If your order is confirmed lost by the courier, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

9. Incorrect Delivery Address

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address at the time of ordering. WDA Willow cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or delays resulting from an incorrect address being provided.

If you notice an error in your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us immediately at malik@wdawillow.co.uk. We will do our best to amend the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.

10. Delivery Delays

While we strive to meet all stated delivery timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • High order volumes during peak periods
  • Severe weather conditions or natural events
  • Courier service disruptions or strikes
  • Customs delays for international shipments
  • Supply chain or production delays for custom orders

In the event of a significant delay, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated estimated delivery date. Delivery timelines are estimates and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date, unless expressly agreed in writing.

Workshop address: Unit 3B Mentley Farm, Mentley Lane West, Great Munden, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG11 1TW. Valid photo identification may be required at the point of collection. No shipping charges apply for workshop collections.
